“Scotland Lives” programme of events
The Scotland Lives auditorium, located within the Highland Games at Holyrood Park, will be the setting for an eclectic mix of talks on Scottish culture featuring everything from DNA and heraldry, to whisky and photography. Highlights of the programme include the world-famous authors Alexander McCall Smith and Diana Gabaldon who will be entertaining their audience with stories from their globally popular fictional novels, whilst photographer Andy Hall will present the best of his stunning landscape photography.

Passport Photographs
Please remember that you will need to add a photo (passport size or similar) to your Gathering Passport and write your name (in whichever format you would like) in the box. Once this is done, remove the white backing sheet from the self-adhesive laminate and seal the Passport.
Please ensure your passport is ready and sealed before arrival at Holyrood Park. If you have chosen to collect your passport at the event then please bring a photo with you, but if you forget to bring one, worry not as we will have a camera at the box office.

The Pageant - Aisling’s Children: Tales of the Homecoming
Rehearsals are well underway for our one-off drama, which will unfold on Edinburgh Castle Esplanade on the night of the 25th July. Under the watchful eye of the director Mark Murphy, the cast are being put through their paces and rehearsing what promises to be an unforgettable and moving piece of Scottish theatre. If you have friends and relatives who are not passport holders but who would like to get a taste of the occasion then a limited number of tickets are available for the dress rehearsal on the Castle Esplanade the night before the pageant on the 24th July. Tickets for the dress rehearsal are £10 and are available from www.hubtickets.co.uk.
